Client Case Study – The Power of Social Video Content
The brief was to create a short 6-video series of ‘How-To’ videos for the ZX-5 Mini-Excavator & ZW-5 Wheel Loader; as well as a bunch of 30 second trailers to promote the content across social media platforms.
We worked closely with HCMA to develop scripts for each of the videos; and both filming & voice over recording for the pilot series was completed in a single 8 hour day!
Our unique approach to planning & video strategy enabled HCMA to:
- maximise their production budget,
- significantly reduce production time, and
- engage both team and clients in the production process.
Facebook Video has been extremely powerful for Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia. Team Deli created 3x 30 second trailers for each of the 6 longer-form pieces of video content, which were specifically seeded by OMDIGI Group across HCMA’s blog, Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Facebook achieved some amazing results:

- 568 Clicks
- 155 Comments and Shares
- Increased traffic to the site by 683.33%
- Organic post reach is up 430%
Social Media now regularly brings in traffic, leads and sales whenever a video is posted.
The pilot project was so successful that we’ve gone on to create a second series of videos for mid-sized excavators, and will soon be filming a further series for the large excavators!
