Did you know? That the end of 2018, 80% of the world’s internet traffic will be video content. The problem is that everyone on business tries to overthink video content but in reality there are 5 simple steps to follow.

Strategy is the starting point

There is no point of creating a video for the sake of creating one. It needs to be on brand, on message and most importantly created for your audience and platform they are viewing on.

Budget is not an obstacle!

is not an obstacle! Get this into your mind set. Each and everyone of you has a smartphone that has a capacity to created high quality content. You just need to know how to do it. Take the time to skill up and invest in some training and understanding shock positioning or require lighting requirements fundamental, because the video you create represents your brand invest.

Consistency is key

Like anything in the marketing world, consistency is everything. Your audience wants to know and expect when and where will they be hearing from you. So don’t over commit if you can keep up with releasing a video per week, do it once a month. It’s like your newsletter or blog writing. In an ideal world, they follow a structure and they go out on a set time each week or month.

Relevance is everything

You are NOT a Jack of all trades. You are an expert on your industry and your content should reflect that. Don’t put content out for the sake of putting content out. Every piece of content that you create needs to provided valuable information for the audience who is watching it.

Amplification is non-negotiable 

There is no point on creating content that doesn’t get eyeballs for it. Make sure you know how to upload and tag your videos correctly on all social media platforms to ensure that they are going to get seen.

Keywords & Hashtags

Think about keywords and hashtags in your industry and always title your video with a searchable term to increase engagement.
