Client Case Study – The Power of Social Video Content
The brief was to create a series of six short how-to videos for Hitachi’s ZX-5 mini-excavator and ZW-5 wheel loader. Three 30-second trailers for each how-to video were produced as promotional content for social media platforms.
We worked closely with HCMA to develop viable scripts and in a single eight-hour day, completed the filming and voice-over recording for the pilot series.
Our considered approach to planning and video strategy meant HCMA could:
- Maximise their production budget
- Significantly reduce production time
- Engage their team and clients in the production process
OMDIGI Group embedded the 30-second trailers throughout HCMA’s blog, Facebook page and Youtube channel. Facebook achieved outstanding results:
- 10.1k views
- 568 clicks
- 155 comments and shares
- A 683.33% increase in traffic to the site
- A growth of 430% in organic post reach
Due to the dramatic increase in brand awareness and sales generated by the pilot project, additional series for mid-sized and large excavators have since been filmed.
