Ideas are everywhere.

People often tell me the reason that they don’t blog as often as they feel they should is because they’re short of ideas.

I find it hard to believe that people are short of ideas when people have so many thoughts in a day. I think the main problem is not a lack of ideas, but a lack of structure and process in documenting these ideas. After a brief chat with a close friend today, time management is clearly also an issue. This is not uncommon, as it is something I hear nearly on a daily basis.

What is stopping you from blogging?

I draw inspiration from my daily engagements and interactions with others, as well as from articles that I read online.

If you need inspiration, may I suggest finding time to have more conversations. I really find that people who have numerous conversations in a day are rarely short of ideas.

There are many other ways to be inspired, and it’s important that you tune in to exactly what and who inspires you.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it is very very important to take time out, to relax, refresh and reflect.

People who take this advice quite often find that the most productive business is done just after time out. That’s proving that time out is as important if not more important than time in your business.

I heard a great TEDx talk by a close friend Daniel Newman – reinforcing this idea of the importance of time spent with those we hold dear.

Hustle is a word we here all too often in business these days, but hustle does not mean being busy or staying up late! Hustle simply means being as effective and efficient with the time that you spend in your business. Working smarter not harder.

With this in mind do you still think you hustle?

If you’re looking for some valuable resourses to be inspired below are a couple of websites that you can refer to. These are some of my go to resources.

As I’m writing this content, I am in the middle of a 30 day blogging challenge with a close group of friends. Part of the reason for this challenge, is exactly the reason that a lot of people don’t take action; accountability!

When you make yourself responsible to somebody else, you increase the likelihood of taking action. So ask yourself who hold you accountable today? If it’s just yourself, I advise you to find somebody who is not afraid to tell you when you are slipping. Maybe you can even return the favour, like I do with some of my closest friends.

When teaching our clients about creating online content, one of the biggest sticking points is a lack of accountability, which is why as a member of the ATN community we hold you accountable as a group. But we also provide a level of support unlike any other. If you’re interested in becoming part of our community, please click the start connecting button at the top of the website.

We are always excited when you people want to join the community, as everybody brings new ideas, and new resources. This community is built for people who are ready to take action! This is also why we reserve the right to remove people from the community who consistently failed to take action. We love celebrating its other successes, and as the community grows we want to see more and more of these. We look forward to welcoming you into the 80 and family and helping you to realise how much easier is when you’re part of a supportive community.

As always if you have any questions or feedback would love to hear from you via the contact form on every page of the website. One of the team would love to help you realise those amazing ideas!
